Pasting notes in a measure without overriding chords, text etc.
Hi, I i have one or more measure with just notes and I need to paste these notes inside one or more measures with inside chords, text or other elements. How can in do it without erasing these elements?
thanks

Normally pasting notes only won't overwrite chords etc. If you have a case where you encounter an issue, please attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for the answer Marc. Let's say I want to copy the notes in measure 18 into measure 17 without deleting the A chord and the "guitar riff" text, just replacing the notes. How can I do it? I also tried selecting Voice1 in selection filter.

There are no chord symbols in that measure, only staff text. Chord symbols would be preserved, as are rehearsal marks and other types of text, but staff text is not. What you can do instead is first copy the staff text the measure 18 (eg, Ctrl+click those two elements, Ctrl+C, then click the first note of bar 18 and press Ctrl+V).
BTW, is there a reason you entered all those things like "A" and "F#m" as staff text (Ctrl+T) instead of chord symbols (Ctrl+K)? The latter have all sorts of special handling optimized for that purpose (including automatic formatting, transposition, optional playback, etc).

Revealed the mystery, this was not a file created by me. I thought they were chords and not text.
