Optimization strategies
Dear all,
I'm currently working on a very very graphical score, with tons of editing to the staves themeselves and PNG images attached. The problem is, all this contents are slowing down my process dramatically, since I can understand the software and my CPU are doing their best, but still there isn't a singl music engraving software really optimised for stuff this heavy.
However, I wanted to ask you, if you ever encountered similar issues, would you suggest any strategies to optimise the workflow and mitigate the software lagging or periodally not responding?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Bob, I apologise. Here there are some images.
As you can see, I made in libreoffice a ton of new lines and custom shapes of "staves", because I wanted to implement more of a positional notation then a pitch-oriented system.
However, of course this is leading my poor file and pc to a massive slowdown, and in these days actually I switched to a graphic software. However, I believe that giving up with musescore is quite a pity, also beacuse it was very handful for positioning these elements into the musical framework. Also, musescore 4's new spacing I think is just so nice and balanced that having to do it by myself in a graphic software I already now will be a bit painful.
Would you suggest some strategies in similar cases?
