Repeats and Jumps

I have a score which should play out in this sequence:

Intro
Verse 1
Section 1 same as in verse 2
Section 2 different from verse 2
Section 3 same as in verse 2
Verse 2
Section 1 same as in verse 1
Section 2 different from verse 1
Section 3 same as in verse 1
Coda

So I have created:
Intro m1- m5
V1/V2 Section 1 with two lines of lyrics m6-m19
V1 Section 2 m20-34
V2 Section 2 m35-49
V1/V2 Section 3 with one line of lyrics (which is same in V1 and V2) m50-54
V1 Last bar m55
V2 Last bar m56
Coda (not labelled as such) from m56 to end m88.

I have used line boxes to cover the Section 2s of V1 and V2 and a Da Segno (DS) to jump from end of V1 Section 2 to V1 Section 3. The end of V1 and V2 differ so I have used numbered line boxes again (1. and 2.)

I have changed the "Play repeats" parameter in the DS inspector but on playback I can't get the sequence to play as intended. It plays Intro, V1S1, V1S2, correctly jumps from end of m34 to m50 to play V1S3 and at the end of V1 (measure 55) it correctly jumps back to measure 6. It then plays V2S1 it gets to the end of m19 then jumps to the beginning of m34 when V2 should play as m6 to end m19, jump to m35 play to m49, continue playing m50-m54, jump over m55 to m56 and then continue to end.
