Page break not working
I have a lead sheet with 13 staves on one page. I am trying to move five of the staves to a second page. Added a page break at desired point but nothing happens. Have been stuck for hours ... would appreciate any help ...thanks

I assume you are in the "Single Page" mode. Switch to the "Page View" mode.
In single page mode no page breaks are visible.
EDIT: In MuS 4 it is probably called "Continuous view (vertical)" instead of "Single Page". See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/navigating-your-score#views

Thanks so much for your reply ... actually I just figured out that I needed to switch to 'Publish' rather than 'Score' to see that it had created a second page ... thanks again .... this was really driving me crazy :o)
