I can't enter notes using the mouse
I am using Musecore 4.1 on Windows 11. I am unable to enter notes on a percussion instrument single line. I click on the Input and choose 16th note but when I go to the staff it won't allow me to enter a note.

Look at the bottom left of the screen. This is the drum palette. You'll have to look up in the manual how to enter notes using this ......in my opinion, rather silly method. But it's the only way to enter drum notation.
