Buzzing on certain higher notes

Greetings,
I've done a few searches and didn't find any information addressing this specific issue.
I've been experiencing buzzing on inputting notes and upon playback. Possibly with other instruments, but almost exclusively with trombone. I'm a trombone player and do alot of transcribing, so this is driving me nuts. The buzzing particularly exhibits as the tessitura raises.

I've got an iMac and Musescore version 4.1.0.231921401

It happens only on Musescore and on both internal and external speakers.

Any advice is appreciated. I am however not technically savy about these things.
