About the transpose
I created a melody for the Bb trumpet and then I replaced the instrument with Piano.
But the key is still for the Bb trumpet, I can only edit in the staff to transpose down to the correct key.
It doesn't make sense.
Is there any better way to make the transpose follow the newly assigned instrument?

What version of MuseScore do you use? And how did you replace the instrument? I tried it in MuseScore 4.1: Both copying from a B♭ trumpet part to a piano part and replacing the B♭ trumpet with a piano works as expected.

Be sure to check whether "Concert pitch" is enabled in the bottom status bar - that controls how the score is displayed.
