Dynamic range between mp and mf
Hi, I just installed Musescore 4 this week and I am having trouble finding the right dynamic for my playback. I usually need more options of dynamics, mp is too soft and mf is too loud, what markings can I use between those two, or is there a way to adjust the intensity of those markings? Thank you

This is all subjective and the defaults were chosen to reflect professional practice, but it's also true that many people have become accustomed to the artificially restricted range that traditional soundfonts have normally provided in the past. So the short answer is, if you'd prefer a more compressed range, you could either add a compressor effect in the Mixer while using Muse Sounds, or switch to a soundfont like MS Basic that automatically uses a more compressed range.
When using soundfonts, you can also tweak the velocities of selected notes in the Properties panel. Eventually this will be possible for Muse Sounds as well, and there will be simpler and more sophisticated controls for it too.
