Audio scratchy and extremely high in pitch
It happens with every song I've attempted to create on MuseScore.
I have Windows 11 pro, 32 gbs ddr5 ram, I forget the exact processor, minus it's an AMD 7600ish.
I've tried looking it up, but the solutions don't make any sense to me. How do I go into editing frequency or what have you?

Start with, in MU4 go to Edit>Preferences>I/O and change the buffer to 4096. If you have an external audio device, disconnect it for now.
If you need more, try some of the settings here:https://musescore.org/en/node/339915
With your specs you shouldn't need to do much. Look at this as away to learn about you computer. Especially if you are going to do audio work.

so have no sound coming out? I'm on a desktop.
Also I did select my main speakers (from the guide). I don't understand which taskbar it's wanting me to right click it's speaker. Windows'? If so, then there's no playback option in the popup.

So, for some reason, installing musescore's sample libraries fixed the issue.

at least in pitch, though it's much more crackly now. even with the whole lowering mixer settings

Probably you need to change the sample rate for your audio device. Try 48 or 44.1 kHz. The setting are in your OS, or the software that came with your audio device.
