Selection problem on tempo elements
If I add a tempo to the score, it gets put in the same frame as the title and sub-title and once there, I can no longer select it. Attempting to resize the frame for the title shows that the tempo has become part of the frame. If I delete the title/subtitle the tempo becomes selectable again but if I add the title/subtitle back in, the tempo automatically gets put back in the frame with the titles and is no longer selectable.
The manual mentions using ctrl-click to cycle through overlapped items but seems to do nothing in this case.

Viewing your score in Continuous view (horizontal) will allow you to select (and move) the tempo elements. Then go back to Page view.
See:

---OR---
You can click the frame and, in the Properties panel, set the 'Gap below' to something like 13 and then press Esc or Enter.

yes, there are a number of workarounds. I'm looking to see if they'll address the real issue though.
