Huge vertical space on one line
I was in "page settings" and had adjusted my margins a bit. When I saved it, this huge space showed up in the middle of the song. (see image) Does anyone know how to fix this?

It is impossible to tell from a picture. It is much easier if you attach the score (.mscz file). Then rather than just seeing the symptoms we can poke and prod to investigate further and possibly find the underlying cause of the problem.
One guess is that something has been moved way out of position and Musescore's collision avoidance is making the big gap to avoid a collision. Try CTRL+A to select everything followed by CTRL+R to reset everything to its default position.
But that guess may be wrong of course, so if it doesn't work or if it does something other than what you hope or expect, please come back and attach the score.
