Repeats and jumping to coda not playing properly.

I'm using MuseScore 4 and have a question/problem about repeats, D.S. al Coda, to Coda, etc. We want to use this for rehearsal so everyone gets the roadmap, but it isn't playing back right. My score is attached.

Playback works fine through the first repeat of the refrain. There's a "to Coda" after measure 23, which is supposed to happen on the final repeat of the refrain (D.S. al Coda is after measure 58). It plays through fine the first time, returns to Segno per the D.S. mark in the first volta, then on the repeat it plays the first volta AGAIN, then jumps to the Coda (measure 59) even though it hasn't seen the D.S. al Coda yet. I can't even play anything in between (measures 25 through 58) by selecting a note and starting play there, because it goes back to that first part (sometimes to the beginning of the score, sometimes to a measure in the refrain; there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it). I've had playback problems involving repeats and jumps before, this is just the first time I really need it to work.

So my questions are:

1. Why isn't it jumping to the 2nd volta after repeating the refrain the first time?
2. Why does it jump to Coda before it's even seen the D.S. al Coda?

The only thing I haven't entered yet are the dynamic markings and some staff/system text, which shouldn't cause my problem.
