grayed out measure won't print

Not sure what I did, but a I had a several measures highlighted and hit some key sequence that grayed out those measures. Now when I try to print the score, those measures are not visible. They do play however. Tried both staff properties and measure properties but have not figured out how to undo whatever I did. Can someone help me?
