Help me find this instrument
A couple of friends and I have been working on a game and we were working on the title theme and made the decision of the melody being played by a "Smooth Clav", as GarageBand calls it. After looking it up on MuseScore 4, I cannot seems to find it. The closest I get is a Clavinet and Clavichord, which would work, but don't 100% fit the goofy aesthetic of the game. So I came here to ask if clavinets/clavichords are the closest I'll get, if there's an instrument that sounds just like it (again, Smooth Clav on GarageBand), or if it just goes by a different name on MS4.
Thank you!

This instrument appears to be a Hohner D6 Clavinet. Seems there are a couple of VSTs available which you might be able to use.

Where can I find them and how would I implement them into the software?

VST 3 is supported by MS4. See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/working-vst-and-vsti
Maybe this is a one: https://www.waves.com/plugins/clavinet#tab-product

Are there any free VSTs of this instrument? If so, where and how can I download it and put it into MS4?

To get a VST to work in MU4, you also need a separate player. MU4 can't read the VST alone. Look into Spitfire or Sforzando.
Can you describe the difference in sound between the instrument you want and what is in MU4? There are effects that you can apply that might get you closer to what you want.

For a VST3 instrument, there is no Player needed. Just install the instrument and select it in the mixer.

Checkout this: https://plugins4free.com/plugin/2986/
Downside, this is a VST2 version. In order to use that in MS4 you can install Kuhshview Element. https://kushview.net/element/
You then select Kushview Element as the VST in MS4 and in the Element dialog, you load the VST2 instrument.
