Alt Key Toggle Highlights Menu Toolbar
I've been running into an annoying Windows feature: when you press the 'Alt' key, the menu bar at the top of the MuseScore interface is highlighted. It's a pain because 'Alt+scroll' is used for lateral scrolling and the 'Alt' key essentially tabs you out of the window. When I'm moving too quickly and not thinking about it, I inadvertently can open up a new score or close out of the one I'm working on, which happens pretty frequently.
I think this is a Windows accessibility feature as I've noticed it on some other apps including Word and Chrome, but not others like Discord. There is no option I can find to turn it off in Windows settings, has anyone here found a way to disable it for MuseScore?

Yes, it's a Windows accessibility feature. There are a few solutions.
The simplest one: replace your habit of scrolling laterally. Use Shift + scroll instead of Alt. Or
Disable the windows Alt-shortcuts. See https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/97413-turn-off-underline-access-key… Or
Use AutoHotkey, see https://superuser.com/questions/1086805/windows-10-how-to-disable-menu-…
