Different to ipad

I have Musescore 4.1.1 installed on my Windows 10 laptop, and so decided to install the app from Playstore onto my ipad....however, I find that it is completely different to the Windows Version.
I cannot create new scores or access scores I have already created.
It is unuseable for my purposes on ipad...why is this?
