mystery beats added
Hi All
Can anyone help me understand what happened in measure 49 in the attached piece. There are added beats to this measure and I don't know how it happened or how to fix it. Thank you

I can't tell how that happened, maybe you joined two measures.
[Edit] Perhaps accidentally by pressing the key combination Ctrl+Del while the bar line was selected.
If all notes and rests are correct, select the quarter rest in the middle and use "Tools/Measure/Split Measure Before Selected Note/Rest" to get two measures with the correct number of beats.
