"edit" link visible even if the content can't be edited

When we post a reply in an issue page or in a forum topic, we have 12 hours to edit it. After that, we can no longer edit it, but the "edit" link is still visible (next to "reply" and "mark as spam"). When we click on it, we face this error:

Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.

Note that this problem doesn't occur for the issue or the forum topic itself. The link to edit it (next to the tab "View") disappears after 12 hours.

I checked, and this seems fixed to me. The newer version of the content management system we use (Drupal?), no longer has a 12h limit on posts and replies.
