Pitch shifting in score upon changing audio outputs
Hey y'all. This is more of a query than anything but does anyone know why a scores pitch might change during a session?
My scenario is this;
I'm working on my session via a blue tooth headset, when I go to change the output to show someone via the volume controls on my pc the pitch is shifted up by a tone or so basically changing the key of the song. It's fine when I close out and reopen the session again but not when I change the output back mid-session.
Anyone know why that might be the case? Possibly a driver problem?

First check whether the sampling rate of the loudspeaker and Bluetooth headphones is the same at 44.1kHz.
It has been reported several times that switching between the two while MuseScore is running can lead to such a pitch shift.
If this occurs, you can also try restarting the audio engine under "Edit -> Preferences -> I/O".
Best: Don't change the audio device while MuseScore is running ...
This happened to me as well. very strange. My headphones are not Bluetooth, but wired. According to the response to this thread, this is a known impact from changing audio sources while MuseScore is running.

Exactly what I came here to say.
I've known this for years, but managed to forget it today. Couldn't figure out why my music stopped playing ... after disconnecting my speakers and plugging in my headset. *forehead palm*
