no sound on high notes
I use a melody for Horn in F that goes up to the g. That should be totally in the range of amateur as well as pro horn players as indicated in the properties. It is not marked red. It just stays mute in the g when playing the melody that goes f-g-g-f. No idea what is wrong. Thanks for helping out.

I used the brass quintet template and changes the trumpets, trombones and tuba into F horns. Would there be an default setting in the template that overrules the horn-range with the trumpet range, or influences the transposition?

If you are using Muse Sounds you are probably encountering this issue https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/13894
Workaround is to use the Basic sounds instead
