Pedal line missing its text - seemingly since upgrade to 4.2

OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.0-233521124, revision: eb8d33c
Since upgrading, "Pedal (with ped and line)" and "Pedal (with ped and asterisk)" don't have any text "Ped". The "Beginning text" is empty, in properties.
I don't think I've done anything to change this, though it's not impossible I've done something by accident. I have tried a "Reset pallette" on the lines palette with no effect.
Everything else in the lines palette seems fine.
Any suggestions how to restore this? And is it a new bug in 4.2 or something I've done?
