MuseScore / Sound Blaster X AE-5 Plus / No playback

I'm using this version on Windows 11 22H2 Build 22621.2861 with an Sound Blaster X AE-5 Plus audio device.

OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later,
Arch.: x86_64,
MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.0-233521124,
revision: eb8d33c

With previous versions of MuseScore, the application crashed immediately upon startup and could not be opened at all. With the current version, the application starts but playback via the audio device is not possible.

Attempts with different settings, e.g. audio enhancement on off, result in playback taking place, but it is played back much too quickly and distorted.

Setting it to 16bit/48kHz and audio enhancement to off results in playback that doesn't distort, but is still way too fast.

Playback works when using a Skiller SGH3 headset with its own audio interface.
