Editing dynamic results in incorrect spacing
I wanted to create a sffp dynamic. I entered a sff into the score and then edited adding CTRL+SHIFT+p. The p was added correctly at the end but the space between the two fs increased. The same thing happens if I start with sfp and insert another forte with CTRL+SHIFT+f.
See picture.
I get this with both v 3.6.2 and v 4.2.0.
I don't think this has been reported on Github yet. Please let me know if you have seen it there.
Also, is there a workaround to get the correct spacing?

I did some experimenting with this. I got the same results you did. But see below.
Do yo expect playback of this?
I discovered two odd things.
1. I used a score that had two half notes next to each other. I put a sf on one and a fp on the other. I moved them next to each other, and took a screen shot. Clipped to just around the dynamic. Opened it in paind and saved as a png. in my screenshots folder. Dragged that image to a score and resized as needed. Dragged that to a palette. No image showed in the palette, but it was there. I was able to drag it to a score.
It may or may not be what you are after.
No idea what any of it means. Now I must go lay down.

"Do yo expect playback of this?" Of course. I'm going to put it in front of some players and woe betide them if they don't play it!

Sorry. I meant in MU4.
I'm having trouble getting MU4 to remember what I've put in a palette. Not always there the next time I open the software.

Playback is low on my list of priorities. Top priority is getting the look right so that I am not embarrassed when I put my scores in front of real people.
Anyway, this looks like a real bug, so I'll head off to Github.
