MuseScore 4: An inserted Time Signature is now limited to selected measures

Soooo glad to see that MuseScore 4 adopted this behavior.

MuseScore 3 had the awkward behavior of an applying an inserted time signature through to the end of a piece ... or until it encountered another time signature. So control it I had to insert time signature firewalls.

Glad to see that's in rearview mirror for MS4 users!

Did I misunderstand something?
It was already possible in version 3 (3.6.2). Time signatures, Key signatures (and Clefs)
