Is it possible to auto locate to the beginning of selection on the next Play? ... or after Pause?
After pausing and restarting playback, on the next Play I'd like to have MuseScore (optionally) restart playback from the beginning of the current selection.
Is that possible in MuseScore 3 or MuseScore 4?

No, unfortunalely not. I once thought abput adding the abillity to serach for section (Ctrl+F, "s2" to search for the 2nd sectiion), even having a 'relative' measure search (measure number in given section)
But you could add (invisible) rehearsal marks to your sections "S1", "S2", etc. and search for those
