Double-click on the "Long instrument name" Eb Tuba in the score.
In the "Stave/Part properties" window,
you can change the transposition.

You can also start with an Eb tuba by, while selecting the instruments, search for tuba, and some hidden kinds will show up. The default instrument is the combined range.

In MuS 3 there are both, the E flat tuba in treble clef and transposing and the E flat tuba in bass clef, then not transposing.
Is this no longer the case in MuS 4?

If I understand the question, both are available in MU4. I just created a score with them.

I meant search bar, which shows all instruments.
