Date and Time in header and footer

I like to keep track of printed versions of copied scores by including date and time in the footer of each page.
Currently dates show as yyyy-mm-dd and times as hh:mm:ss. While yyyy-mm-dd is logical but it's not in overall acceptance; here in Australia the accepted formats are dd/mm/yyyy and hh:mm for every day usage (apologies for those people who still use am/pm, I prefer 24h time ;o)

Is there a way to use the selected system format for date and time? It certainly would be helpful.
