Linux Audio Drivers are the Bane of my Existence Once Again

I am running Musescore 4.2.1 on Linux Mint 21.3 (both latest at time of writing). For some reason Discord wasn't letting me stream because of pulse audio being weird, so I installed wireplumber (a pipewire manager), which solved that issue easily.
But since then, the playback bar has stopped moving completely in Musescore, and notes don't make sounds when placed or clicked on. is the only solution to remove pipewire, or is there something I can do to fix this?
