multiple staves for one instrument - how to hide unneeded staves
So I have this piece that I composed for strings, but I need to divisi the notes into different staves, however I have only accomplished this result linked, how can I make the staff completely disappear?

Please post the score. We can't tell from an image.
Looks like you made the measures invisible rather than the stave

As I said... Instead use Format > Style > Score > Hide empty staves within systems
