Score saved on cloud will not open
I made a 16 page score and just to be safe, I saved it to cloud (my first time not saving to PC). Later, when I tried to reopen that score, an error message popped up saying it can't open because I haven't verified my account and that I need to verify it in "an email." I've never gotten a verification email from musescore and I am signed in, no problem. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really don't want my hours of work wasted.

Saving to the cloud is not "safe". It is "convenient". For "safe", save the file locally, on your hard drive, then back it up elsewhere.

Ok, but what's done is done, and I was asking if there was any way to recover it.

That depends.
Go to the musescore.com website (log in there if you haven't already). In the browser window (top right) you will see your name and you can select "My scores" there. If it has been saved successfully, you will find it and can download it. But this will not work if you do not have an account there.
If you are unsuccessful, search on your local hard drive. In Windows, these are the places where a backup copy may exist:
Note: The folders 'AppData' and '.mscbackup' (note the dot) are hidden folders. Ask a search engine how you can make them visible for your operating system. And the names of the scores in 'AppData' can be cryptic, so open the ones that match the save date.

I looked in My scores, but it wasn't there, even if I waited for it to download and saved it to the cloud.
I will try the other method, thank you so much!
