Musescore 4.2 still crashes when entering text with more than one line

To replicate:

Add/Text/{Part name or composer etc}
Type something (e.g. "Mozart"
Hit "Enter" to add e.g. "arranged by..."
It stops responding and the only way out is a forced stop.

It's been like this since the very first version of Musescore 4!

Works for me and I've not heard of anyone else reporting it. (That doesn't mean it's not happening; only that it has not been reported!)
Might be worth trying Help / Revert to factory settings. Be warned: This will remove any personalization you have done: shortcuts, palettes, etc.

Revert to Factory Settings doesn't help.

Log file attached... or at least it should be. "Choose a file" doesn't seem to work!

Version 4.2 you say? Is that 4.2.0 or 4.2.1? Because one of them is less fun than the other but it's legal
