how to insert some notes within a measure and automatically adjust the remaining measures
I use Musescore for Windows 10 64 bit. My Musescore version v4.2.1,240230937
I made a simple guitar music and correponding guitar tab underneath it.
I have total of 12 measures. Measure 1,2 and measures 4-12 have correct musical notation.
Only Measure 3 requires insertion of several notes.
Is it possible to insert several notes in measure 3 and have the rest of the measures (4-12) adjust automatically so I don't have to manually make changes to measures 4-12?

Do you mean you want measure 3 to have more beats than the others? Use insert mode (CTRL-SHIFT). You’ll also need to change the time signature for that bar and then back to normal for the subsequent ones.

tk u for response.
i mean time signtaure is within 4/4 but the change within the measure 3 will necessitate changes in all subsequent measures.
i want to avoid manually changing subsequent changes after from measure 4-12
You are saying that measurers 4-12 already have correct musical notation. Why do you then want them to "adjust automatically" when you insert notes in measure 3?
My guess is that you want to "shift-to-the right" the notes in measures 4-12 as you insert notes into measure 3. If this is the case, the solution is to cut-and-paste the notes that should go into 4-12. This will leave space (rests) in measure 3 where you can add your missing notes.
