Trumpet - adding "open" command messes with playback

Basically what's in the title. I haven't done a whole lot of testing, but from the small amount of playing around here's what I've found:
-Any staccato notes play at an incredibly low volume (especially compared to accented notes)
-Slurs over notes are completely ignored
