Where is the Album feature?
Hi all,
I'm completely puzzled about where the Album feature of MuseScore 4.3.0 is. The user manual points to a location where there's absolutely nothing mentioned about it.
Trying to merge two mxls and can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks to provide some ideas

The album function was promised for MuS4 - but it is not (yet) available.
I don't know if it is even planned to be implemented in a future 4.x version.

Thanks!
Any clue on how to combine two scores into one? I've tried to combine them with Audiveris but the software isn't able to export to mxl.

Audiveris is completely capable to export to musicxml

Not really. If you've got a multi-page book it won't export it to musicxml

I would open both scores in a separate window, then append more measures to the first and then copy the notes of the second into the first. And use a section break between the two. But it's not quite the same ...

was able to just add section breaks and add more measures at the end and then paste the rest of the notes there. However when importing from Audiveris the tool totally destroys the score. Might as well try SmartScore now.

Ok, I understand you have xml files generated by a OMR tool.
Whichever tool you use: when you open the result in Musescore, you will first have to make more or less corrections. This depends very much on how good the template was. This can be better with other tools, but none are perfect, especially if the template is poor. This is not a problem of MuseScore but of the used tools.
Scan, import, correct and save the separate pieces and only combine them into one file at the end.
The only problem that could still arise is that if you have time and key signatue changes in the music, then you have to insert the copy section by section and adjust the time and key manually beforehand. These are not copied.

Apparently, I wasn't using Audiveris properly. One user explained that source merging should be done before the transcription. Noob mistake.

That's what I did with a six-section suite. I just used musescore 4 with a split screen. It didn't destroy the score and worked ok except:
1. Many quarter notes become two eighth notes tied... weird.
2. If there is a time signature change, it is unnecessarily precluded at the end of the preceding piece. Is there a way to make that invisible?
3. Measure numbers are continuous. Is there a way to start at "1" again at the beginning of each piece?
4. Rehearsal marks, tempo changes, and other "stuff" are not included in the paste. You have to check it carefully.
All in all, I like this way better than merging PDFs.
