Can't install Musescore

I'm not tech or forum savvy, so bear with me. This has no doubt been mentioned elsewhere, but again, don't know how forums work. I've downloaded the installer for both Musescore 4 and muse hub. If I try to run either the splash screen shows up for a few seconds saying 'it will launch when it is ready' and then it simply disappears. Nothing happens. No processes appear in task manager.

I'm running Windows 11. All updates are installed. Nothing fancy going on.

Any help would be appreciated.
