Can we get access to MS Basic.sf2 soundfont?
I have MS Basic.sf3 ;
it has different numbers of samples, instruments, presets, and file size compared to all versions of MSGeneral and HQ I have.
MS Basic.sf2 seems nowhere to be found.
The sample source and .md files seem to imply sources which do not exactly work out.

I have been trying to update the Drawbar and Detuned Organs 1 and 2 pitches, and would like an sf2 file to maximize quality. They are still wrong in MS 4.3.

I created a github issue https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/23659,
and have brought this up before here https://musescore.org/en/node/326427
and https://musescore.org/en/node/163756#comment-1104115.

Thanks

Newly discovered problem: MS Basic.sf3 sounds bad.
I don't know if it was compression choices or what, but for example listen to Synth Brass 4 - aliasing and clipping all over.

When comparing to the previous MSGeneral, you can hear this clear as day in Polyphone, no MuseScore required.

MuseScore 4+ may be mishandling soundfonts in general.
The classical guitar, open D string for instance, has a click on the attack that is not there in the actual soundfont.
This is even true if you re-label the better sounding soundfont from 3.7.
Something is really wrong here.

Hmm...
I would check my system, but Chris Collins heard it as well.
Strange if it takes certain configs to bring it out, or mask it.
As far as the soundfont goes, I've got all the recent versions of MSG and MSGHQ that are out there.
MS Basic is different; it has 2194 samples as opposed to MSG's 1246.
Don't ask me what all those are for, of course,
but clearly I would prefer a closer sf2 or better starting point.
