Changing from MuseScore Studio to MuseScore Pro
I downloaded the free MuseScore Studio, then I purchased the MuseScore Pro. How do I download the Pro version to my computer?

MuseScore Studio is complete and free, there is no Pro version.

Thanks for that, but it doesn't seem right. I'm looking at an email about my MuseScore PRO+ subscription. It lists the extra benefits of the PRO+ subscription.

I finally found somewhere else where it says that all I get is access to additional scores. This is of no interest to me so I asked for a refund.

It took me a while to realize that there is a MuseScore dot Com and a MuseScore dot Org! What is the difference you might ask? I think dot Org supports the software, sells subscriptions to the software and maybe some things to do with commercial support. Dot Com looks like a store front. This forum is on dot Org, but search for 'sheet music' above and you jump to dot Com .

No, .org just supports the free notation software. Nothing commercial here on .org.

Yep, I agree. I just went back and poked around some more and didn't find anything for sale. Is there a Pro version of some sort that is for sale? And if so,where do I locate it?

As stated above:

The software is free. There is nothing extra that you can buy. The .COM website lures you into paying to download scores, which is not great if you subscribe because you didn't understand what you were doing but is actually not bad value if you do want to use that service.
