MS 4.4 bug?
Hello,
Today I upgraded to version 4.4. The program launches but the screen is completely black. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still doesn't work.
I opened a file from the explorer. It plays sound but I can't see the score or the menus either. I tried to edit some notes. When I close the file (clicking at upper right corner), I can see the popup window, but nothing is visible either.
I'm using Windows 10. I've never had this bug before with previous versions of MuseScore.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

If this really helps, we will never know the cause of this problem.
So I suggest you first copy Musescore4.ini from the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\MuseScore folder to another location
and only then do a factory reset.

Thanks for your input. I tried the procedure you suggested but it didn't work.
For now I downgraded to version 4.3 and everything is back to normal.

Hello, I have the same prob. Could you tell how to downgrad to version 4.3? My OS is windows 10 64bit
We are about to release a fix for this problem, and it would be great if you can help us by testing it. To do so:

I downloaded 4.4.1 but now it won't allow me to hide parts. I'm on a Mac. It gets hung up and I have to force quit.

Known issue, will be fixed in 4.4.2
