Musescore Crashes during a create part option
Updated to 4.4 today. So far I like it a lot better. However, one problem I’m having is when I go to create a new part and hit “create part” the program crashes. Has happened twice now. If anyone has any updates or workarounds, please let me know. I’m crunching the last of the music for Christmas orchestras.

As far as I know, there is currently no specific crash when creating of a new part. Certainly due to something in your score, a corruption somewhere perhaps.
So we need you attach this score (.mscz file) for verification and investigation if needed.

It is something in your score. I don't know what, as yet. I can't see anything obvious. Although that doesn't mean much. Some times there is a problem element that causes this. Here's what I have tried.
Reset all score style elements. Crash.
Deleted each part. one at a time. Crash after each time.
Changed to mscx format. Crash.
Exported as mxl and re-opened. Crash.
Exported as midi and re-opened. No crash.
No idea why. And now I have to go lie down.

Select first measure - > Right click -> Measure Properties -> Uncheck "exclude from measure count" - > Ok
