musescore if full of bugs.. it wasn't like that a few years ago!

using win11 and the latest musescore version, i experience a lot of bugs. Sudden crashes of the app after computer sleep (or monitor off), ctrl+c/x/z/v sometimes do not work, entering a note with keyboard doesn't work occasionally, playback after choosing a note sometimes doesn't work. Wow, what have you done?! i do see a lot of progress in the features though - bravo for that but the quality is compromised too much! for your attention!

FWIW, I learned long ago to turn off monitor going to sleep if plugged in and to not close the lid with any software open. My laptop is always plugged in. Most software doesn't have a problem going to sleep, but MuseScore and some other notation software does. So I avoid it. But we all use our hardware differently.
It's hard to say much about things that sometimes happen to you. How often is "sometimes"?

4 times in 1 hour. It wasn't like that in Musescore 3. Musescore 4 just doesn't work properly.
There are so many bugs. Sometimes choosing a note doesn't work. One can choose only measures. And one cannot playback in such a case... very disappointing. Unfunctional.
I used to use Musescore 3 a lot. Now I'll have to go to sibelius.

I have Sibelius. It doesn't recover from sleep either.
As to the other issues, there may be something going on with your system. I only say that because I run MU4 on Windows 11 (and 10) without your issues. And the only time it crashes is when I load someone's score that has a problem. When was the last time you cleared the cache or ran a good registry cleaner. Or other maintenance.
