thikness bracket

I want to set my new music to look the same as my old music and lessons that I made the last 30 years in Finale. I'm investigating whether Musescore is a good successor for me.
I have found finale Maestro and changed the line thickness.
The bracket at the beginning of a system also changes and becomes much thicker.
You can adjust the bracket thickness, I have set it back to 0.30, but the brackets do not respond to it. Is there a bug in the program?
I can influence the distance of the bracket.
