Is there a way to remove the rests in empty measures
Is there a way to remove the rests in empty measures? It can be convenient to print a page that is incomplete and use the empty staves to sketch some of the remaining music. But the automatic rests get in the way of this. Looking for a way to leave the measures with no entries completely empty.

You can hide them (e.g. with "V" shortcut) after selecting the measure(s) and/or individually.
They will remain grayed out but will not print.
NB: if you don't want to see them at all on your screen, go to the View / Show / Untick “Show invisible” menu.

If you don't want to see them at all on your screen having hidden them you can also view the score on the Publish tab which is What You See Is What Your Really Get. But that is just for viewing/playing. You can't edit in the Publish tab.
