Downloading Plugins on MAC

I've tried everything. I followed all the guides, zipped, unzipped, archive tool, moved the Musescore folder to application support folder, used GitHub. nothing is working. seems like my Mac/ Musescore 4 app is not reading the code properly. Please help what am I missing??
