I should have been more precise. When I said 'Attempt to reshape the slur', I meant not by moving one of the slur handles but 'Grab the slur itself and push it in any direction'. — This causes the crash even without the 'flip' operation.

So the bug report becomes:
ACTION
- Create a slur from bars 18 – 25.
- Select the slur.
- Grab the slur and push it in any direction.

RESULT
- Crash

Note.
This happens even with a slur between any two notes.
STOP PRESS. The same thing happens with a tie ...

By the way:
If you want to stop at the "Fine" mark, you need to use "D.C al Fine" instead of just "D.C." on the last measure.

(The slur is also editable with 3.7)
