Dotted quarter and dotted half notes’ dot not showing up
Hello everyone,
I’ve been using Musescore since Musescore 3 and I’ve never had a problem inputting in notes. Lately, when I make a quarter note dotted (so 1 1/2) the dot does not show up. I’ve noticed the measure treats it like it’s there so the following note will show an eight note rest but the dot doesn’t show.
Is this a bug? Did something change where I need to so something else for the dots to show?

Hello Jojo, Im using the latest Musescore 4 version. This problem started happening recently and out of nowhere.

But you could try to use a 4.4.3 nightly build
Since the measure is treating it as correct, it may be a display bug. Try updating to the latest version of MuseScore or resetting your workspace under View > Workspaces > Reset Workspace.
