beams between beats
MuseScore keeps add adding beams between notes in adjacent beats.
Beam properties is set to auto.
How to prevent this?

The default beaming for a staff is controlled by the time signature properties. If you want a different grouping change the grouping in the time signature properties. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/beams#set-default-beams
And if you want to control beaming note by note see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/beams#change-beaming

Thanks for your answer.
The instructions worked for only 1 staff (piano treble).
Then entereed notes in the bass cleff and it reverted back to the default beaming.
Yes did save in properties after making the beaming changes.
Want to make the beam changes for all of the same time signatures in the score.

Having adjusted the beaming in the time signature you can add it to a palette and use it elsewhere. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/time-signatures#custom
