Split MIDI file

I have a midi file in which a piano piece (both hands, several voices) is recorded in one track. When i open it with MS4.4.2, all is on one stave. Can MuseScore split it at a certain point (e.g. c4) so that everything above c4 is on a treble stave and everything below is on a bass stave (or another stave)?
