Playback disturbed in version 4.4.3

After downloading version 4.4.3 the sound of the playback function when playing a score is disturbed.
Download was successful and Help shows the right version.
Diagnostic/Muse sampler indicates: Muse sampler found, version 0.100.6.
Playback configuration says MuseScore Basic is active.
As other music tools (iTunes, YouTube) playback correctly I don't think it is a hardware issue.
