Seems there got to be tuplets involved
Step by step example, with only three tuplets (triplets):

MuseScore automatically beams together the entire set of notes for beat 3, so you need to use the Break beam left icon from the "Beam properties" palette. That allows you to define the starting note for each beamed group of notes.
