exteneded sustain articulation for guitar

• Dec 9, 2024 - 18:26

Hello Musescorers:

I'm using the most recent version of musescore for linux: MuseScore-Studio-4.4.3.242971445-x86_64

I looked for the sustained articulation for guitar ( frown with a dot beneath it as shown in the attachement ) and can't find it.

How do I notate a sustain, as is often used on the last chord or note of a tune?

Thanks,
Old

I guess you're referring to the Fermata, the first symbol in the Breaths & Pauses palette.

Its duration can be set in the Properties panel / Playback / Time stretch: the default value is 200%
